Finance

We at the Presbyterian Church of Lake Travis have been blessed with an abundance. That is an abundance of Love, and an abundance of Care and Concern for all of our neighbors. It is, however, the financial generosity of our members and friends that has both permitted and encouraged our support to those less well off than we. It is our finance ministry that provides the stewardship necessary to ensure that we can continue to support the missional activities that are so key to our church and the Church-In-The-World.

Over the years our members and friends have contributed back to the church a sufficient portion of the gifts God has given us that, through our finance ministry, we have supported, among others:

• Mobile Loaves and Fishes
• Food for Crisis Ministries
• One great hour of sharing
• Pentecost offering
• Peace offering
• Joy offering

Most recently PCLT has created an endowment fund which will enable our continued financial support of the missional activities that are so important to all of us. It is the words of Matthew (25:35-36) that underpin our mission in the world and thus our financial drive:

for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”
