The next three Sundays, our little congregation will have three big celebrations!

This Sunday, December 17, at 11:00 a.m., we will hear the Cantata, ‘The Road to Bethlehem,’ presented by our PCLT Choir, joined by guest vocalists Anitra-Coulter Blunt, Brooks Taylor, and Austin Hart, accompanied on the piano by Jeanne Sasaki, and conducted by our Music Director, Austin Bradley. They have been practicing for several months, and we have already heard a foretaste of this beautiful offering. Their voices and music will lift our spirits together as we prepare once again for the miracle of Christ coming into our world.

Next Sunday, December 24, we will celebrate both the 4th Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve during our 11:00 a.m. worship. We will hear a folk tale, ‘Postle Jack Makes a Promise, and we will hear the sacred story of the birth of the Christ Child. Austin and Natalie Bradley, Jeanne Sasaki and our PCLT Choir will offer sacred music to inspire our celebration.

On Sunday, December 31, between 2 and 4 p.m., you are invited to join me and JR at our home in Hudson Bend (16400 Sydney Carol Lane) for a Holiday Open House. This will be a chance to gather over a bit of festive food and drink, to give thanks for the past year, and to share our dreams for the New Year looming on the horizon.
