Dec 6, 2023

We had a wonderful 1st Sunday of Advent! The choir, joined by three guest vocalists and accompanied by Jeanne Sasaki, shared a bit of the music they are preparing for the Cantata (to be sung during worship on December 17). Our guest preacher, the Rev. Dr. Jack Haberer challenged us to prayerfully consider our financial commitment to God, to the church, and to each other. After worship we had a wonderful meal and heard an update on what we have accomplished in the past two years, where we currently stand financially, and possibilities for the future mission and ministry in the coming year and beyond. Those of you who were not able to be there were truly missed!

This coming Sunday, we will make our Commitments, as Rev. Haberer encouraged us. We will bring our completed Pledge Cards to worship and we will bring them forward and lay them in the offering plate as a public witness of our commitment to the mission and ministry of PCLT.

If you did not receive a Pledge Card last Sunday, we will have some available this coming Sunday. If you will not be able to be with us for worship on Dec. 10, you may contact Larry Foster, Treasurer, indicating your commitment. He will complete a Pledge Card and place it in the offering plate on your behalf. Of course, if you are not prepared yet to make your 2024 financial commitment to the church, you may do so at a later date. Simply contact Larry or complete a Pledge Card and drop it in the offering plate any Sunday between now and December 31.
