Friends,

Our Music Director, Austin Bradley, continues to lift us up spiritually through the range of high-quality music he brings to our worship services each week. This coming Sunday is just one example of the thoughtful planning and invitations that enrich our worship experience.

Our PCLT choir will sing an anthem this Sunday – the fact that we have a choir at all is due to Austin’s leadership and perseverance. I look forward to hearing the voices of our choir making a joyful noise to the Lord.

Jeanne Dayton Sasaki, Collaborative Pianist and Vocal Coach, currently maintains her own private studio in Austin, Texas, performing, coaching and teaching solo singers and instrumentalists. She served as Music Lecturer and Staff Accompanist at the University of Texas at Austin 2006-2014. Some of her other professional engagements include Taos Opera Institute (Taos, NM), One Ounce Opera (Austin, TX) Butler Opera Center (Austin, TX), and Four Corners Opera (Durango, CO). Ms. Sasaki earned music degrees from Eastman School of Music and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She will be our guest pianist, accompanying our choir, under the direction of Austin Bradley.

We will also welcome back Dr. Hilary Janysek, flutist and educator specializing in entrepreneurship and chamber music. Hilary has played in worship before and, most recently, her wind ensemble, Quintet 360, presented their premiere concert performance in our sanctuary. She will play two pieces for us during our worship service this Sunday, one as a soloist and one duet with Ms. Sasaki.

I encourage you to come hear these musical offerings and invite your friends and family to join you!

Peace,

Pastor Jack
