Friends,
I loved being in worship with so many of you this past Sunday! After more than 14 months of worshipping in the sanctuary with only three or four others, and talking into a camera, it lifted my spirits to see actual faces and hear voices respond in prayer and song. You cannot begin to imagine how much I have missed all of you!
So, before we re-gather again, I am taking a much-needed vacation. JR and I are going to sit on the beach for a few days and let the sun, sand, and surf rejuvenate us. This Sunday, May 30, the Rev. Amy Schact and the congregation of Laurel Presbyterian Church in Laurel, Maryland, are prepared to welcome you to worship with them online. Amy has been part of our worship services several times in the past months. You will be able to access that worship service in the usual ways – on our church website and our Facebook page.
Then, on Sunday, June 6, we will officially re-gather for worship in the sanctuary. We will re-dedicate our space to the glory of God and the purpose of worship and thanksgiving. Please plan to join us! It will do your spirit good!
Peace,
Pastor Jack
