Dearest Easter People,
Well, we have had quite a beginning to Holy Week. I hope you all are safe and dry from these storms! I hear the rains will be slowing down soon!
Tomorrow, we begin the Triduum – the three holy days. What happens on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter form a continuous story – our continuous story.
On Maundy (Commandment) Thursday, we will celebrate God’s commandment to love one another with a Seder Super and a worship service with communion and foot washing.
On Good Friday, we will hold a Tenebrae service. Tenebrae means darkness. We will hear the events leading up to Jesus’ death and his last seven words from the cross. We leave this service in silence because until Easter morning there is simply nothing left to say.
On Easter Morning, we celebrate the resurrection with food and fellowship, flowering of the cross, and a worship service with special music.
If you are able, please take advantage of the available parking at Bee Caves Elementary.
PLEASE SEE DETAILS OF THE DAYS AND TIMES FOR ALL OF OUR HOLY WEEK SERVICES BELOW!
